Payments
Deposits are 20% of your voyage fare (ticket price only, not taxes and fees), and they are due at the time of booking. However, if you're booking less than 120 days prior to your voyage start date, full voyage fare would be required.
At this time, Virgin Voyages accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, and PayPal. Currencies accepted are USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD, and NZD so some Sailors may incur foreign transaction fees by their credit card company.
At Virgin Voyages, we are partnering with Flexpay to provide access to a flexible, pay-over-time financing solution to allow our Sailors the most accessible and affordable options to voyage with us. Sailors can easily apply through Flexpay to pay for their voyage including all associated costs like add-ons and extras such as Voyage Protection and Shore Things. Final payment is due 120 days prior to your voyage start date - or at time of booking within 120 days.
In the event your booking is canceled, Virgin Voyages will follow the standard cancellation policy. If you are eligible for a refund it will be processed to your Flexpay account which will be applied to your balance. For details about refunds to your account, we advise you to contact Flexpay.
Future Voyage Credits (FVC) are only applicable for future voyages booked and sailed within one (1) year of the original voyage date and are issued on a per Sailor basis. They cannot be transferred to other Sailors or used as onboard credit.
While Future Voyage Credits cannot be used to purchase Sailor Loot, they can be used to purchase Bar Tab when paid pre-voyage. Both Bar Tab and Sailor Loot are available for pre-voyage purchase.

Our goal is to process travel reimbursements within 30 days from the time a request is submitted. Reimbursements will be sent to Sailors via a check in the mail (for US residents) or Western Union Cash Pickup (10-digit MTCN tracking number).
We understand the importance of receiving your voyage fare refund, and our goal is to process these requests as quickly as possible. We expect to process refunds within 7 days from receiving your request. Please note that refunds may take up to 14 days to reflect in your account based on your banking institution.
Sailor Loot is our cheeky way of saying onboard credit. Similar to our Bar Tab, you can purchase Sailor Loot before your voyage by contacting Sailor Services. Once on board, Sailors can use it to purchase items like specialty drinks, spa treatments, tattoos, retail, Shore Things, and more!
Unlike Future Voyage Credit, Sailor Loot cannot be used on pre-voyage purchases, including Bar Tab.
All Sailor Loot is dedicated to the sailing it is applied to, and any unused funds will not be refunded or rolled over after the voyage ends.

Your Future Voyage Credit balance is available to view on your account dashboard.
Payments for bookings can be done by logging into My Account on virginvoyages.com or by contacting Sailor Services or your First Mate (travel agent).
At this time, cruise financing via Flexpay is only available to Sailors residing in the US or Canada.
If you’d like to pay via wire transfer, contact our Sailor Services Crew or your First Mate (travel advisor) at 954-488-2955 (US), +44 (20) 30034919 (UK), or +61 (1800) 491708 (AUS) to request the necessary bank details. Please keep in mind that the payment must be completed within 24 hours.

Depending on your bank, you may incur a processing fee when making a wire transfer. This fee is determined by your bank and is not charged by Virgin Voyages.
Wire payments must be completed within 24 hours of receiving payment details. If the payment is not received within this timeframe, the booking may be canceled.
If you have chosen to pay via wire payment, and it is not received within 24 hours, the booking may be automatically canceled. If the transfer is not received in time and the booking is canceled, you’ll need to rebook at the available rate.
