Stingray City to Starfish Point — Beach & Lunch

  • Stingray City to Starfish Point — Beach & Lunch
Interact with stingrays and starfish in their natural habitat, followed by a picnic lunch on a beautiful beach.
After a quick drive, you’ll be introduced to local guides, board a boat, and take a gorgeous ride to the Stingray City sandbar. Having been exposed to and interacted with local fisherman, you may see a stingray showing off for tourists as you wade into the water. You’ll then head to Starfish Point to check out the local starfish, followed by a picnic lunch on the nearby beach. Now that you’ve interacted with the local wildlife, take in the sights during your ride back to the shore then port.

Shore Thing Highlights

  • Wade in waist-deep crystal clear water while watching the stingrays swirl around you and other visitors

  • Female Southern Stingrays are larger than males — adults can grow over 5ft/1.5m wide and 150lbs

  • In crystal clear waters, you’ll see different starfish of all sizes just off the secluded beach at Starfish Point

  • Take in the scenic beauty of gorgeous Starfish Point where you'll enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach

  • The stingrays have been interacting with humans for decades — not only are they wild, they’re friendly as well
