We just hit a 2 million milestone. Here's how we're marking it — and why we think the next million should feel just as good.
2 million times, someone has chosen us.
Say it out loud and it still sounds a little unreal. Two million people looked at the usual cruise brochure — the buffet decks, the kids' clubs, the assigned seating at a table with strangers — and said, actually, no, we'll do this differently. Two million times, someone picked Virgin Voyages instead.
We built this whole thing on a bet: that adults on vacation don't want the version of a cruise their parents took. No kids' clubs, because there are no kids. Theatrical dinners instead of a dining room schedule. Ships that feel more like a boutique hotel that happens to move. It was a bet, and it turns out, a lot of people were making the same one.
So before we start talking about the next million, we wanted to take a beat and actually celebrate the two million who got us here — not with a press release, but with something that feels like us.

A final Sailor surprise
Somewhere in the middle of a completely ordinary check-in aboard Resilient Lady, one Sailor and one First Mate had a very different day than the one they were expecting. Our Happenings Cast showed up mid-embarkation, cameras rolling, and turned what's usually a fifteen-minute line into the kind of moment people will be telling their friends about for years.
Among the prizes were a Mega Suite upgrade nobody asked for, a beachfront cabana in Bimini, a Shore Thing already sorted, and an invite to come back and do it all again at Sisters at Sea. And because two million is a big number, we went big on the thank-you: an epic Virgin vacation with roundtrip flights to London and a stay at Virgin Hotels. It was a lot for one day. Then again, two million Sailors is a lot to celebrate.
